Want we worden met z\u2019n allen steeds dikker en daardoor hebben we meer kans om vroeger te sterven. En dat wil natuurlijk ook niemand \u2026<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.9&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maar het is allemaal wel wat complexer dan dat.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.9&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Nu, voor alle duidelijkheid: het is inderdaad zo dat dikke mensen meer kans hebben om bepaalde aandoeningen te ontwikkelen zoals diabetes, hoge bloeddruk en hart- en vaatziekten. Maar je kan niet zeggen dat dik zijn de <em>oorzaak<\/em> is van deze aandoeningen.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.9&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Waarom niet? Omdat ook dunne mensen deze aandoeningen krijgen. Dat spel van afvallen en weer aankomen heet jojo\u00ebn. En dat kan <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/articles\/10.3389\/fendo.2019.00728\/full%20\">slechter<\/a><\/span>\u00a0zijn voor je <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2077-0383\/8\/7\/950\/htm%20\">gezondheid<\/a><\/span>\u00a0dan gewoon dik zijn en op gewicht blijven.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.9&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Onderzoek heeft aangetoond dat telkens afvallen en weer bijkomen negatieve gevolgen kan hebben voor je lichaam, met o.a. een hogere kans op hartaandoeningen, ontstekingen, diabetes en depressie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.9&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast moet je ook rekening houden met <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.1111\/obr.12266%20\">discriminatie die dikke mensen ondervinden bij de dokter<\/a><\/span>. Dokters spenderen over het algemeen minder tijd met dikke pati\u00ebnten, negeren regelmatig hun symptomen, en schrijven alleen maar een dieet voor, ongeacht de reden van het doktersbezoek.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.9&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Dat is waarom veel dikke pati\u00ebnten de dokter vermijden en pas een diagnose krijgen wanneer er iets ernstigs aan de hand is en het (bijna) te laat is.
