Maar niets is minder waar. Door kleine aanpassingen te doen in de manier waarop ze eten of door aan de slag te gaan met emotionele moeilijkheden, vallen ze af. Niet alleen omdat ik het er gewoon helemaal niet mee eens ben, maar vooral omdat het schadelijk is om deze boodschap te blijven verkondigen. Wie zegt dat je \u2018vanzelf\u2019 kan afvallen zonder te di\u00ebten als je maar de juiste achterliggende dingen aanpakt, stelt de complexe werkelijkheid te simplistisch voor.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; text_font=&#8221;||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#3c3c3c&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; width_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; width_phone=&#8221;&#8221; width_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;0px||&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;0px||||false|false&#8221; custom_padding_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; custom_padding_phone=&#8221;|||0px&#8221; custom_padding_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ze houden dan geen rekening met tientallen andere factoren die allemaal een rol spelen in je huidige gewicht, zoals genetische aanleg of de omgeving waarin je opgegroeid bent. Ze negeren dan dat sommige mensen dik geworden zijn van medicatie die ze nodig hebben om zowel mentaal als fysiek te overleven. Ze sluiten dan hun ogen voor de grote groep dikke mensen die al van kinds af aan op dieet staan en nu een metabolisme hebben dat volledig overhoop ligt.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; text_font=&#8221;||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#3c3c3c&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; width_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; width_phone=&#8221;&#8221; width_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;0px||&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;0px||||false|false&#8221; custom_padding_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; custom_padding_phone=&#8221;|||0px&#8221; custom_padding_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Dus nee, afvallen gaat niet voor iedereen \u2018vanzelf\u2019. En door die visie telkens opnieuw te gebruiken, houden ze impliciet de overtuiging in stand dat dik zijn je eigen schuld is. Want ook al is de boodschap dat het gaat om gezond eten of jezelf emotioneel helen, als er zo uitdrukkelijk vermeld wordt dat afvallen het resultaat daarvan is, dan is dat een belangrijk onderdeel van die boodschap.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; text_font=&#8221;||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#3c3c3c&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; width_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; width_phone=&#8221;&#8221; width_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;0px||&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;0px||||false|false&#8221; custom_padding_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; custom_padding_phone=&#8221;|||0px&#8221; custom_padding_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Door zo hard de nadruk te leggen op dat afvallen, blijf je (gedeeltelijk) gericht op dat resultaat. Of als je afvalt en daarna toch weer bijkomt? Dan heb je misschien wel al je emotionele blokkades opgelost, maar dan krijg je er gewoon eentje voor in de plaats, namelijk het gevoel dat je gefaald hebt omdat je niet bent afgevallen.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; text_font=&#8221;||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#3c3c3c&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; width_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; width_phone=&#8221;&#8221; width_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;0px||&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;0px||||false|false&#8221; custom_padding_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; custom_padding_phone=&#8221;|||0px&#8221; custom_padding_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Zolang afvallen een rol blijft spelen, kan je emotioneel niet vrij zijn, want dan stel je een voorwaarde aan jezelf volledig accepteren. En die twee dingen gaan niet samen. Je kan jezelf niet volledig accepteren &#8216;op voorwaarde dat&#8217;. Maar waarom wordt er dan zoveel nadruk op gelegd? Waarom kan de focus niet liggen op all\u00e9\u00e9n het emotionele stuk of die gezonde relatie met eten? Is dat niet positief genoeg?<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; text_font=&#8221;||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#3c3c3c&#8221; text_font_size=&#8221;16px&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.8em&#8221; width_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; width_phone=&#8221;&#8221; width_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;0px||&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;0px||||false|false&#8221; custom_padding_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; custom_padding_phone=&#8221;|||0px&#8221; custom_padding_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Want ook al zeg je dat het\u00a0<i>geen<\/i>\u00a0dieet is, als het doel is om af te vallen, dan ben je op dieet.<\/b> En zolang dat stukje \u2018en dan ga ik afvallen\u2019 in je hoofd zit, blijft dat een doel \u2013 ook al is het dan bijkomend. En het is misleidend om het dan \u2018niet di\u00ebten\u2019 te blijven noemen.
